Fantastic evening for Kinsale Hockey Club at the Munster Branch Hockey Ireland Awards Night, celebrating outstanding club, schools, players and volunteers across Munster, in the Cork International Hotel on May 15th 2026,
- Kinsale Hockey's U18 girls were presented with their League Trophy, completing a superb cup and league double for the season.
- Kinsale Hockey's club committee also proudly accepted a Merit Award in recognition of the club's commitment to the development of underage hockey in Munster.
- Antoinette Cooney, dedicated club chairperson, received an award acknowledging her contribution to hockey.
Many thanks to the Munster Branch Hockey Ireland for a wonderful evening and for recognising the dedication and hard work of players, coaches, volunteers and parents supporting our club.
Schools Programme
As part of our promotion of hockey across the general Kinsale area, we to run a primary schools taster programme each year, with the support of the Irish Hockey Association. We hope to give all children the opportunity to try out the game.
