Over the next couple of weeks we will be attending various blitzes. Notification for these blitzes is done through text message. In order to get on this notificiation list you must be registered. Registration takes place in Saile every Friday afternoon from 18th January until Friday 1st February inclusive. Registration is €45 per player per term, discounts are available for siblings. All players must wear shin guards and mouth guards during each training session or blitz.
We would encourage you to stay and watch your child's training session but where this is not possible we require you to collect them at the pitch side at the end of the session.
Club Hoodies
Some of you may already have purchased our stunning new club hoodies but for those who haven't they are still available to order. We have them in both kids and adults sizes. The next order will be placed on Friday 1st February. To order please email us back with the sizes you require.
Schools Programme
We will be returning with our schools programme after Easter. We already have 6 schools signed up so will be busy bunnies!! The sessions will be on Thursdays for 4 weeks and will culminate in a schools blitz on a weekday in Saile. If you would like to help us out with this please contact Kim 0877973868. We will be coaching 1st and 2nd class students as part of this year's programme.
Fundraiser
We have organised a bag packing slot in Supervalu Kinsale for Saturday 2nd February from 10am - 7pm. This fundraising is essential to enable us to grow the club further and as such we would appreciate it if you could please support it. Deborah Gilleran will be in touch shortly looking for volunteers to fill time slots.
Volunteers
We are always looking for volunteers either in the form of coaches or in another capacity. If you are willing to help out please give Kieran or Kim a call to discuss this further. We will be holding an IHA introductory course in March for all interested parents in Kinsale. Further details will follow on this.
As always we appreciate and welcome your feedback and we sincerely thank you for the support you have given us to date!!
Schools Programme
As part of our promotion of hockey across the general Kinsale area, we to run a primary schools taster programme each year, with the support of the Irish Hockey Association. We hope to give all children the opportunity to try out the game.
